MPH is excited to offer a short Bible Study on St. Paul’s letter to Philippians, led by Dr. Julie Newberry, professor at Sacred Heart School of Theology.
How can we hold together joy and suffering? How do we discern God’s ongoing work in and around us when we have reason to feel stuck or thwarted? How can the story of Jesus lead us into greater unity as a community of faith?
Come find out how the Apostle Paul addresses these questions and more in his brief letter to the Philippians! Our first meeting will include introductions to each other and to the letter, as well as reading the letter together.
Each of the four subsequent meetings will focus on one chapter of the letter in more depth. No homework required; come for one or for all sessions as you’re able! Contact the Parish Office to register.
