Senior Resources
Eras Senior Network is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage and support seniors, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in leading meaningful lives. Seniors and adults with disabilities are supported by volunteers of all ages to help them maintain their independence. Eras helps individuals 55 and older stay engaged in their community through a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Senior Center programs include over 30 classes offered each week along with many special other events and guest speakers each month. The West Allis Senior Center also supports the nutritional needs of seniors through several programs.
Seniors-a-Go-Go! offers comfortable, carefree day trips for participants 55 years of age and older that begin and end at the Recreation Center.
Support Resources
There are times in life when obstacles are thrown in our path. During these times, it’s important to lean into our faith in God and reach out to others for help, support and prayer to get us through.
Hales Corners Lutheran offers many groups and resources to assist you through those trials. For more information on these lay person-led groups, please contact the church office at 414-529-6700, or use the contact information listed for the group.
