Sunday Mass is the heart of the Church’s life: when Christians gather to encounter the Risen Lord, listen to his Word, and be nourished at his table. Through the Eucharist, Christ’s living presence builds up the faithful so that, together, they become his mystical living Body in the world. Sunday is therefore a holy day made Christian by the Mass—not simply an obligation, but a profound need, because without regular participation it is difficult to live and share the faith fully. Receiving the Eucharist is also a true communion with Christ and with one another, strengthening the Church’s unity and growth in grace.
